A maintenance release. The Kubernetes client libraries and the rest of the dependencies move to their current versions; PodSteer itself works exactly as in v0.5.0.

Before you upgrade

What you need to know.

  • Nothing to do.
  • Homebrew users: brew update, then brew upgrade --cask podsteer.

What changed

Dependencies

  • Kubernetes client libraries 0.37.1 (api, apimachinery, client-go, metrics), moved together as one release.
  • Go's networking and system packages: golang.org/x/net 0.59.0, x/sys 0.48.0, x/sync 0.23.0.
  • The interface's build and test tooling: Vite 8.3, Vitest 5, and current icons.
  • The licence inventory is regenerated for the new set, and every item in it is approved.
